From the outset, the brand has been very restrictive when it comes to the ingredients it uses in its products, adhering to a pharmaceutical-grade blacklist and a well-defined formulation charter, thus prohibiting the use of many ingredients that are harmful to both humans and the environment, such as silicones, phthalates, parabens... giving preference to ingredients of natural and mineral origin.
All products are clinically tested under dermatological and/or ophthalmological control, and the majority contain a high percentage of ingredients of natural origin.
Today, the brand is taking a major turn and expanding into skincare make-up, integrating moisturizing active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and rice-based active ingredients to create "dermophilic" products like our loose powders and improve skin health.
They combine the aesthetic benefits of make-up with those of skincare products.
a little history
1881, Théophile Leclerc, an avant-garde pharmacist, developed a Dermophilic Rice Powder in his pharmacy in the Madeleine district of Paris.
It was a revolution, because during the Belle Époque, women powdered everything from their skin and hair to their gloves.
Also a painter in his spare time and an art enthusiast, he masters the subtlety of nuance to perfection.
The pharmacist offered his powder in 16 colors at a time when all others were white.
Very quickly, this soft, fine, vegan and clean rice powder, enclosed in a brushed aluminum case that has become legendary, was snapped up. And the pharmacist became a true complexion expert.
Nearly a century and a half later, Maison T. Leclerc remains true to its origins. An expert in color, it now offers a wide range of make-up for the complexion, eyes and lips, as well as beauty accessories and, more recently, the creation of a fragrance universe with a range of oils and powdered perfumes.

Passionate about the world of cosmetics, beauty and especially make-up, Laetitia and Frédéric Poux, entrepreneurs at heart, bought T.LeClerc on March 1, 2020.
Seduced by this iconic French make-up brand, the couple are determined to develop the brand in France and internationally , as well as in digital and with professional make-up artists who have always used T.LeClerc products.
